At Fun Arena we respect your privacy, and we are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will state what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, the control you have over your personal information and the procedures we have in place to protect your personal information that you provide to us whilst using the Fun Arena website. 

The information we collect: 

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

  • Identity Data includes first name, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender.
  • Children’s data: includes first name, last name, age, date of birth, disabilities, gender
  • Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
  • Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details.
  • Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

This information is required so that Fun Arena can understand your needs and provide the correct service to you: 

  • To be able to process your booking request
  • To manage your account 
  • Internal record keeping (waiver forms) 
  • To verify your age (to identify the level of access to the arena, sale of alcohol, waiver signing) 
  • If you opt in for our marketing emails, we may send promotional email regarding new timetables, tickets and events. If you wish to stop receiving email from Fun Arena, you may opt to do so at any time by clicking unsubscribe. 

All data is processed in accordance with the data protection act 1991 and the general data protection regulation 2018. 

How does our website use cookies?

Our website stores cookies on your browser to allow you to place a booking with us. Our website’s cookies are temporary and cannot be used to identify individual visitors. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to the customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. However, this may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website. 

Fun Arena uses third party tools to track how our website is being used to help us to. Improve our customer’s journey. The third-party tools currently activated are:

  • Google analytics 

Why do we process and store your data?

We need to store and process your data if you make an enquiry or place an order with us, to allow us to provide our services as a leisure entertainment centre. This includes your name, contact details, and IP address. We also need to store your details for tax and insurance reasons. We only store or process data which you have given directly to us and which we need to run our business.


How long will we keep your data?

We may need to keep your personal details until up to years after you were a customer of ours, for tax and insurance purposes. After this date your data will be anonymised, unless you have ‘opted in’ to receive ongoing communications from us.


Who has access to your data?

Our data protection officer is responsible for managing access to the personal data we store. Generally speaking, only the data protection officer and authorised members of staff will access your data.

We do not sell or give your data to any third parties for their marketing purposes.

Who else might your data be shared with?

We reserve the right to share your personal data with other third parties if required for legal reasons. For example, in the case of an insurance claim, a tax audit, or to prevent fraud.


How can you see what data we store about you?

You have the right to request details on any data we store about you. We can send a copy of your data to the email address you entered when using our services.

You can manage your marketing preferences at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the emails we send, or by getting in touch with us through any other means.

Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product/service purchase, warranty registration, product/service experience or other transactions.

Your right to deletion

If you were previously a customer of ours, we might need to hold onto some of your data for tax or insurance reasons. Otherwise, we will happily comply with your request where we can.
